Guide for Visitors

Before visiting the GSID Library, please search the materials you want to read using the Nagoya University Library Search (OPAC).

Location	A material whose location in the OPAC indicates "GSID" or "GSID Stack" can be used. A material whose location in the OPAC is "GSID ASCI ●●" can only be used at that overseas campus.
Status	A material whose status is "checked out" in the OPAC is on loan and cannot be used. A material whose status is "in laboratory" is used in a laboratory. If you wish to use it, please contact the GSID Library in advance.

Please bring your ID Card (student ID card, driver's licence, etc.). A letter of introduction is not needed.

Please search the material you want to read by the Nagoya University Library Search (OPAC) in advance, and inform the service desk of the information.

Only theses whose authors approved to be made public are available.
Please fill out the application form at the service desk. In exchange for your ID card (student ID, driver's license, etc.), we will give you a laptop containing the master theses..

We cannot lend to people outside the university, but you may borrow the book via a nearby public library or a university library you belong to. Please ask your community library.
The members of Institute of Developing Economies can borrow materials. For more information, please visit "For members of Institute of Developing Economies".

There is no copy machine for visitors. On Higashiyama Campus, copy machines are available at the Central Library, Nagoya University Co-op, and convenience stores.
Please apply for a short-time loan for copy at the service desk. You can take the materials out to make a copy. We keep your ID card (student ID card, driver's license, etc.) while taking materials out of the library.
Please note that it may not be possible to make copies depending on the condition of the materials, usage restrictions, etc.
