From April 2008 new members have joined our
Seminar, widening our already rich variety of students
coming from different continents. Welcome! Let's enjoy
discussing together about various development issues!
On Dec 6th 2007, Ms. Sayuri Kuwabara, Director,
Latin America, JCIF was invited to be a guest speaker at
"Special Seminar on Development Finance" at Graduate
School of International Development, Nagoya University.
On Nov 20th 2007, there was a World Bank TV
conference which was arranged by the World Bank in
Japan. The speaker on this occasion was Mr. Kiyoshi
Kodera, Executive Secretary, Development Committee and
the discussant were Ms. Izumi Ohno, a professor at
GRIPS.
The conference was
actively participated by professors and students at
GSID. Various topics of development were raised and
discussed. 
On July 11th 2007, a Special seminar on
Regional Integration was held at GSID, Nagoya University
under the auspicious guest speaker, Mr. Alexander
Araya.
On March 25th 2008, it was the greatest time
for eight students under Prof. Shinkai because it was
their commencement.
After two years of their
hard work, they could enjoy the joyful moment as shown
